18 & wisdom teeth 😣

My mom paid for my 2 oldest siblings to have their wisdom teeth removed when they were 16. When my next older sister needed hers removed, my mom said she wouldn't pay for it, so my grandma covered it. Now I'm 18 and my wisdom teeth are almost out and I'm in lots of pain. I'm out of the house now but my bf and I need to pay for both of ours to be removed but we won't be able to for a while because we need to save. Since my mom brushed it off for me and my sister it seems like no big deal, is it dangerous to wait until I'm 19-20 to get them removed?
