My doctor told me my pap smear was abnormal. A few moths ago i had one and it was normal and all my blood work came back negative for stds. What could this be?

I have gotten abnormal pap before. The doctor gave me some sort of gel to insert for about a week and when I went back everything was normal. Don't freak out too much, it could be something simple!

I had an abnormal one because I had a yeast infection. So they redid it at my next appointment and it came back fine

Could mean anything. It could just be your cm that gave abnormal results, or sperm if you recently had sex. Doesn't always mean pre-cancerous cells, or abnormal cells.

When I was pregnant with my son I had this happen they did 6 month paps and 2 of the 3 cane back good so they went back to normal.  No medicines no nothing.  They weren't sure what it was about.  I did have sex the morning I went cause I forgot about it till I woke up completely.  Hopped in the shower and out the door.  That's the only one of the 3 that came back that way.  So could be nothing.   Good luck!

Could be precancerous cells or just suspicious cells

Maybe HPV? Theyll do a biopsy. I think like 80% of women have it. I had it (no symptoms), got the vaccines after the biopsy.. Now theyre normal ever since
