HELP ! baby with gas/ cramps ??

My baby boy has been fussy because he's been having Gas, I breastfeed and supplement with formula when I dont produce enough milk, he has always been fine up until today, I feel so bad seeing him in pain! 
He's 1 month & a week old 
Is there anything I can give him for Gas  ?

My LO used to panic quite a bit when farting and pooping at first, I would spend time rubbing gently his lower spine as it helps the muscles.. also being active helps tremendously,  on their back, you can move their legs as if they were pedaling on a bike, babies usually love it.

First you should try to determine what is making him gassy. Id try a Dr. Brown bottle for supplementing. See if this makes any difference at all. Next check and see if a possible formula change could be better on baby's tummy. Then try gripe water etc.

My pharmacy always told me those gas drops don't work and gripe water was just sugar water. We just pump legs and get baby moving for gas. Switch formulas or ditch formula all together if he continues to have issues. Your supply will increase if you drink more water and stop supplementing.

At 6 weeks- ish, poopig stops being an auto reflex for baby. Instead baby has to find and learn how to use muscles for farting and pooping. They grunt and kick a lot and sometimes yell if they can't figure it out, but it's a super short lived phase. It will be over quickly once baby learns what muscles to use.

I dont know why you want to give jim something if this is a new thing..colic is excessive crying for hours on end usually in evening over a number of weeks.
