induction not working???

Baby doesn't want to come out. I'm only dialated to a 3 cm and 80% since 3 this morning. I've had horrible contractions but no progress. And my ob nurse is trying her hardest not to get me started on pitocin. I feel like I can't take this.

I never dilated past a 1 when they induced me. I ended up going on four days of induction, they broke my water, put me on the highest dose of pitocin (which I didn't even feel) and I ended in a voluntary c-section. They wanted me to go another 24 hours. Not to scare you but I'm glad I didn't wait as my little girl had stiff lungs due to me being on a magnesium drip because of high blood pressure. If I had waited longer she would have been much worse. We were in NICU for 10 days but my little girl is home and doing great!!

Good luck sometimes it just doesn't work though. Get rest when you can is my advice. My induction was 4 days long
