My favorite is the original!!! I just didn't think the remake did it justice! If you've never seen the original it's on netflix and def worth a watch!!!!!

I LOVE the original, it was the 1st movie I saw as a kid that had a plus size girl seen as sexy & desirable by a hot guy, I also really liked the music, I enjoy the recent musical remake too just not in the same way.

I lean towards the remake only because it's closer to the broadway verson and I'm not a Riki Lake fan.
