When me and my partner first got together he was working locally and was home every night but recently he's started a new job working for a family member which means he works around the country a lot and most of the time I don't see him for weeks on end. As well as that the work isn't constant. When we decided to have a baby the plan was that he would find a job that was closer to home so that when the baby was born he would be home every night. I'm starting to get really worried as I only have 8 weeks until I'm due and he's still working away with no interest to find a job closer to home. I don't really know what I'm supposed to say to him, he really loves the job he has now, but I know I won't be able to cope on my own. And the thought of him missing out on the baby growing up really upsets me.
