How far in advance should I book a photographer for pregnancy announcement?

Hello friends! Im due at the end of May '17 and my husband and I want to announce our pregnancy around the 20th week of pregnancy which falls around new year's. We both want to do photoshoots in early December. Should I start booking now or should I wait?

We decided were going to buy a new camera ND do our own shoots. After pricing them out in st louis, yeah, the camera is cheaper and I've photographed wedding myself and my husband has a good eye, I think we will have a blast doing it by ourselves!!

I was wondering the same thing because I want a snow day theme for my maternity pics but I actually want it to be snowing I think I'm going the just put her on point that I want her to do it I'm due March 2nd but scheduled c section for February
