Did you try to induce labor before 40 weeks? (At home etc)

Question

I'm just curious if people have tried to bring on labor themselves?  I am 30 weeks now and am not thinking/trying to but I was wondering how early anyone might have?

If you did please tell me what you did and if it helped anything!

No way! I just did things to help prepare my body. Red raspberry leaf tea and evening primrose oil. I let my body do what it knows how to do.

I used evening primrose oil from 36 weeks on.. when  I  knew my cervix was ready (I was dilating and effaced) we did nipple stimulation... worked like a charm to bring on labor wih my last 3
... as well as long walk.. and some sex.

I used evening primrose oil from 34 on. And then when I hit 36-37 weeks I started squatting and walking more. And then at 38-40 I tried a warm bath, getting my membranes stripped, squatting, bouncing on a birthing ball and all that. Finally went into labor at 40+3
