I think it depends on the situation. Were you married or had kids. A house.  Is this the first time. How long you have been with them. Do you see yourself having a future with this person. Do you depend on this person financially and are kinda stuck because of that. Can you or would you forgive them. Life complicated. Not everything is black and white. I sympathize for the situation but it is your decision.  Don't listen to other people. It's between you and them. Relationships are complicated. I wish you luck and hope things get better.

We have a 3 month old son and were together over a year. We broke up about a month ago but have still been talking on and off. The night before hand he told me he still wants me, and then he slept with someone else. Now since I've basically avoided him since, he's been trying to get my attention and talk to me again, and seems to regret it. I do love him but I just can't believe he did it in the first place. He always told me he couldn't sleep with someone else and what not so it just came as a total shock. Now he wants to help me out and see me and everything and I'm not sure what to do
