Panorama Prenatal Screening says BOY. is it wrong?

So on 9/8 I did the Panorma Prenatal Screen for my little bundle of joy to find out the sex of the baby & also test for Down syndrome. Everything came back low risk. As far the gender, it came back a BOY. I am so excited because that's what we wanted. 💙 I heard of the test being wrong for a girl, but almost never a boy. So should I wait to do a gender reveal until I find out for sure, or is it pretty safe to say I'm having a boy?
Any advice? Has anyone had their results come back boy & be wrong?

I would go ahead and plan your gender reveal! If the test came back BOY that means the Y chromosome was detected within the fetal DNA. Considering you're female there's only one place the Y chromosome could have come from! Congrats on your little man!

It's perfectly safe to say you're having a boy. If they say its a boy, it means they found a Y chromosome and that means that it HAS to be a boy because otherwise they would never find a Y chromosome. Bec you have both XX chromosomes and if it were a girl she would have XX too. So I think it's safe to say that it's a boy... I mean unless they mixed up lab results which is very rare and thwyre normally very careful about because it could cost them a lot. They could be sued.
