any truth to the heart rate?

Just wondering if there's any truth to if the heart rate Therory? I've heard that girls heart rates are faster than boys. My sons was always in the low 160's and then went down the further along I got. This one has been 157-159. Has anyone had boys with faster heart rates or girls with lower heart rates?

My daughters heart rate was 130 to 135 and my son's heart rate is 160 to 165 there's 0 truth to the heart rate deal lol

There isn't any truth to it, I'm having a girl, 1st heart rate @ 7w2d was 143, next one @ 11w5d was 161, & @ 16w5d she was back in the 140's

My son had a faster heart rate than my daughter. His was always 160 and my daughter is 145-150

No truth to it- just an old wives tale. If you listen to the babies heart rate long enough it will pretty much include all of the normal values at one time or another (which is a good sign of an adequate stress response). People just like to make guesses and see if they are right:)
