Would you stay with your SO if he had anger problems?

If something doesn't go his way he starts breaking things in the apartment, if we're in the car he will drive recklessly, etc

At that level, personally no. My husband has his moments and has in anger slammed something down on rare occasions. But if I ever felt like it had the potential to be directed at me, or our future child, I would be gone in a heartbeat. Actions like driving recklessly put your lives and others at risk.

You do not have to stay together because you're married that's kind of bs. I think the fact you even have to ask should say something to you, you shouldn't question if you should or need to be with someone. What happens when baby is here and he decides to drive like a dumbass because he doesn't get his way and causes an accident? He can't be breaking shit and throwing a tantrum like a child, that's not an environment you want your child to grow up in, if it scares you or makes you uncomfortable imagine how it's gonna make a baby feel.

My boyfriend does the driving thing but the second I yell at him he immediately stops. I don't yell very often so I think it startles him.

If you are married then yes stay. You said vows, for better or worse. You should at least try to fix the situation with counseling or anger management classes before you just throw your marriage away.
