I love this! No one ever talks about syringe feeding but it happens.. We did with my first his first couple days of life. He'd lost 10+% of his birth weight before leaving the hospital. We then struggled with latching for the first month or two and i pumped and bottle fed half the time.. Breastfeeding isn't easy... Its not the glorified empowerment all the ads make it to be. Some days you just want to give up. But we made it almost 20 months and would have continued if i could have. Breastfeeding is a bitter sweet journey that I can't wait to begin again!
