Should I worry if the cord is around my baby's neck at 21 weeks?

I'm now 25 weeks and I still feel her kick... however at my 21 week ultrasound it sure looks like the cord is around her neck. The doctor didn't seem worried right now. ..but I am! Especially with her getting bigger.

My midwife said that a lot of babies have their cords around their necks.  Unless it gets pinched it shouldn't be a big deal,  because they're not using their esophagus to breath or eat/drink.  She said most of the time,  the only problem it causes is if it's wound too many times so that there is no longer enough length to get all the way out during birth.

But you should definitely talk to your doctor about it.  At least let your doctor give you some peace of mind.
