What is implantation bleeding?

How do you know when you have implantation bleeding? It so confusing because I'm new to trying to become a mother and some of these terms don't make sense to me.

Answer

Not all women experience it, In fact only 1/3 women do. So just because you don't have it, it doesn't mean you aren't pregnant. Implantation bleeding occurs anywhere from 6-14dpo I think, it could be any variation of brown, pink, red. Some people experience it heavier, and some just very slight. Usually, but I've heard some actually have had, clots are not part of implantation.
