Pre-Partum Depression???

Question

Does anyone else feel so freaking depressed in anticipation of baby coming? I absolutely can't wait until she is here but I can't put the Kleenex down. I am so emotional that every single thing sets me off.

I am also concerned about it. I've had some antenatal depression (despite wanting and planning this pregnancy). And some studies say that I'll have a higher risk of PPD, some say lower. My mother also has PPD so I can imagine it's a real possibility. 
My partner has arranged to take at least two weeks off work after the birth, so that should help, but I can't help but feel afraid of falling into that hole and needing to claw my way out during such an important time.

You're not alone. In the last week it's been so bad that I don't want to live anymore. I try and keep myself occupied to take my mind off things but it's a constant cloud above my head. I'm gonna speak to the docs about some medication. I'm 30wks now so not long to go.

Yep...just had a breakdown myself..right now..I know I am so blessed but I am also so depressed. This is my second and I did suffer post partum...it was really bad..
