Experience with Sprintec Birth control

Went to my 6 week post partum appointment and my doc prescribed me Sprintec Birth Control. I decided to go with pills because had alot of side effects with Mirena, and heard bad about depo shot also. Hubby is going to get fixed (not sure when, hopefully soon. Maybe I should nag more lol jk) but needed something for the time being. Have read reviews, and alot of people are saying little to no sex drive, depression and suicidal thoughts. I also smoke right now, and I know it says to not smoke while taking them. Im going to try to stop before i start taking the pills. I'm nervous about taking them. What's your experiences with this, or any birth controls.
