Mother in law not happy with dog.

My MIL and I have a fairly good relationship, not besties but certainly no animosity.

Until today when she came over to see our nursery. We've just had the new carpet put in and it looks so good :)

She loves the nursery, however she commented on how I was letting my dog, Zaida, in the baby's room and on the new carpet. She was legitimately shocked and it seemed a little bit appalled.

It just made me mad coz she is OUR dog in OUR house, in OUR baby's room. And as any fur-mum would, I got my back up a bit.

When daddy is asleep coz he has work the next day, who is going to be with me while I get up to the baby in the middle of the night? And when daddy is at work, who will be home with me keeping me and baby company? And even when daddy and mummy are home who is still going to be with her little sister all the time watching over her? Yup, you guessed it, her big furry sister Zaida!

So yeah, of course I let her into the nursery. She lives in this house too, lol!

Phew! Just a little rant to get it out of my system, lol

Ps, just to clarify... Even though I trust her with my life she will never be left alone with the baby. Always supervised!
