Has anyone had back to back pregnancies...?

Hi girls. Like the title says, has anyone had back to back pregnancies and can give me some
positive stories / advice? We just had our first baby June 8th 2016. He's almost 4 months old and I just found out I'm pregnant again- due next June. So they will be exactly 12 months apart. I called my Dr and he seemed to think it would be fine- he told me to keep taking my prenatals. We feel over the moon to be blessed again so quickly with another baby, but now I find myself a little nervous about the risks. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you! Ps any negative or rude comments about this will just be ignored so don't waste your time 😃

I had my son Sept 6th 2008 and got prego with my daughter when he was 7weeks, I had no complications and very healthy babies. Don't stress (know it's hard) hope everything goes smoothly for you and baby.

I got pregnant when my girl was 4 months aswell... it was planned...... i am now 5 months pregnant with a boy and everything is going perfect..... i dont see what risks there could be.... its just another pregnancy.... i feel it willbe great to have them so close together.... we are both army and move alot.... they will have eachother when changing school... sometimes will even have to change language, so at least they will go through this together..... i only see good sides to having them so close.... zero inconvieniences....  congrads!

My brother  and I are 11 months apart both born in February, my mom would  say it's just like having twins  if my brother  would  cry I would  wake up and cry. Him and i don't have a  normal sibling relationship hoping things will change when his  niece gets here.

Not me but a friend had back to back pregnancies. I don't know of any complications she might have had but she had two healthy full term baby boys and occasionally says she's crazy for having them so close together.

My brother and I are 10 months apart. We have always been super close and my mom didn't have any issues with the pregnancy or birth. She delivered vaginally and no epidural. You will be fine. Most people just might ask if your kids are twins, my mom got asked that all the time. Congratulations, it is a blessing.

My SO and his brother are about 13 months apart. I think as long as your doctor says you're fine, then you're fine. :)

Mine are16.5 months apart SO not quite back to back and more of a gap then yours will be. Do your prenatals, watch for any pelvic pressure just in case later on since your lifting baby alot ( i had cervical shortening but was never on bedrest nor told not to lift). Itll be difficult but so exciting. Then itll be easier for you cuz they can be in same groupsand activities!

Not me personally but a good friend of mine is. Had her first right before thanksgiving 2015 and is due in 11 days with number 2. She's had a fantastic pregnancy for the most part (she was in a car accident 15 years ago and has really bad back problems but other than that it's a normal pregnancy). She had gestational diabetes with her first but not with this little one. The only issue she's had has been with work and FMLA because she's going out twice within the same 12 months.
