any thoughts

So my husband and I did the baby dance on Friday the 23rd I thought I was suppose to ovulate the 28 th the day my husband came home well I start doing the at home fertility tests and yesterday it showed a surge and this morning I checked again the test line yesterday was the same color as the control line but this morning the test line was way darker so I guess my question is do I still have a chance at getting pregnant this cycle if we did it two days before I got got the first positive fertility test we will still do the baby dance Wednesday when he comes home but will be two days after my highest peak
