FTM Question

Is it reasonable to ask my OB if I can be induced at 39 weeks? I want my two sisters in the delivery room with me, along with my husband, but one lives 3 hours away and the other over 5 hours away. I figure if I can be induced, they will have a better chance of not missing the birth. Will my OB understand? What are the factors influencing whether or not you can be induced early? I'm 30 weeks Wednesday and haven't had any problems so far. Just anemia, which i'm on supplements for. Has anyone been in my position? If so, did your OB grant your request?
