provera and pregnant

I took Provera that was supposed to jump start my period. My last period was July 23rd. My doctor did urine test negative than on Sept 9 blood test was negative so my doctor told me to take Provera for 10 days start which I started on on Sept 10 still no period than today at my appointment they tell me I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I go for Ultrasound on Wednesday. I'm nervous something might be wrong with my baby but my doctor told me I should be fine
