disposable or reusable/washable diapers?!

Me and my husband keep going back and forth in this. We can't decide if we want to do disposable diapers or try and save money and get reusable/washable diapers?! Mommas all around please give advice! Haha. Pros and cons on each? Thanks!

Easy and convenient
Low start cost 
Can use with yeast infections 
All daycares will use them

Disposable cons:
More prone to rashes
Expensive in the long run ($2500-3500 over 2.5-3 years)
Bad for the environment

Cloth pros:
Cost effective in long term ($500 with a resale value at 50%) 
Can reuse for multiple children
Little environmental impact
Cute patterns and designs
Many options for different styles (prefolds, flats, pockets, all in ones, all in twos) 
Less prone to rashes

Cloth cons:
High start up cost 
Some daycares won't use cloth 
Can't use diaper creams or medicated ointments

I'm going to start with disposables because in the early days you get through 10-12 diapers a day and I'll be adjusting to having a new baby, recovering from the birth and probably not getting much sleep - at that point in time I don't want the added hassle of extra loads of laundry and keeping on top of it all, especially since I'll have a winter baby so won't be able to dry things on the line. I figure that once we've settled into a routine and the baby is using fewer diapers each day I'll reevaluate.

I do both! I cloth when I can to save money but I do disposable at night for sure since he's a heavy wetter.

I'm going to be a first time mom, but all my friends and family that have done cloth loved it. It saved them money and wasn't difficult to do. It also helped keep sensitive skin healthier in some cases.
