Race Talks banned to Race, Gender, and LGBTQ
Shame on this app for moving all conversations about race to a specialty groups or just deleting. How easy for people to get decide, "I don't want to deal with this" or "I'm uncomfortable" or "does everything have to be about race?" It's really ashame. Meanwhile everyone who is of color doesn't get to say, "I'm tired of being discriminated against today" or "I'm tired of having to share racialized experiences on Glow which is supposed to a community for women."
Conversations about race are just too much. Have your say in a corner so people who don't care can remain blind and ignorant and not have to have their day ruined by the reality that people live every day.
Like the fact that you listened to people whine about having to read race related topics who called for a ban, imagine if people were that receptive to other issues. Like really? Way to perpetuate racism, way to silence voices, way to set and renegotiate rules according to what makes the masses comfortable.
