IUD cramps!!

Does anyone else get super bad cramps--debilitating ones--since getting their IUD? I just had my checkup 2 weeks ago and everything was peachy, but I'm in lots of pain when I cramp. It can range from normal cramps to ones where I curl up in a ball and want to cry with a heating pad. I've always had bad cramps, but this is terrible! I love the convenience of it, and I've just passed the 4 month mark with it, but has anyone's cramps started to not be ridiculous over time?
