Food Stamps

Do you think everyone who receives food stamps should be required to work if they are capable of working? (Have no disabilities that prevent them from working).

I know here, you qualify for 3 months food stamps when you don't have a job and you don't have dependents. But once you have dependents, you can receive food stamps and government assistance forever without ever working as long as the kids are still living with you.

Also, the department of human services here offers child care for parents who are working but cannot afford it. So the argument "I can't afford a babysitter if I return to work" is invalid in this scenario
