Anyone from Canada who can help?

Hey, I'm just wondering if any Canadian moms can offer advise on this ... I don't have the hours to receive Maternity leave paid. I'm 33 weeks and a few days and have been on bed rest for 2 weeks (not paid) is their anything that's offered to help me out financially?

I second what Nikki said. You might qualify for some disability leave, try looking at EI options on the Canadian government website or calling an EI/Service Canada information line.

Is there some way you could get sick EI for this time that would maybe help? I would stop into one of the ei offices and see what they have to say! If this is your first mat leave im pretty sure you can use any hours over the last 2 years.
