leaking??!

Question

So 38w+1d, the past two nights I woke up and it was wet down there. I just woke up to throw up, thanks to horrible heartburn & leaked on the floor. It's clear liquid like water. No contractions, not even Braxton hicks. And I haven't lost my mucus plug yet either.

I had leaking the other day and I mentioned it to the midwife and they asked that I go straight in. If your membrane had ruptured then you may need to be induced if labour doesn't start within the next 24 hours (as there's a change of infection) but I think the only way to know is to have an examination of the cervix like I did. I was fine and it was most likely discharge or I had wet myself slightly but I was relieved to get checked out. Don't ignore it. Wishing you lots of luck!
