Convincing DH to TTC?

Question

Anyone else have to convince their DH to TTC?? 
We've been together 6 years, married a year, we have a house, we have it all... all that's missing is a baby 😞 
How do I convince him it's the right time to try?!

I went through the same thing with my husband for about 6-9 months and I started to believe he'd never be "ready". We've been together since February 2011 and married since May 2014. For the longest time, any time I brought it up it resulted in an argument and me crying over it. In April of this year I stopped taking the pill (for more reasons than one) and told him the ball was in his court.. if he didn't want a baby, he would have to be the one to take the responsibility to keep it from happening. Fast forward a few months, in August there was a slip up and I was a few days late which obviously had us thinking I might be pregnant. When it turned out that I wasn't, the very next month he told me he was ready and here we are on month #2 TTC! 🎉
