About to make the switch to pumping exclusively

Following. I've been exclusively pumping for almost a month now! It's definitely hard and draining but I know he's getting the right stuff he needs. Going to try and keep it going at least till I go back to work in another 3 months! Right now I can pump anywhere between 6-8oz every 3-4 hours!

I've been exclusively pumping for about 1.5months now, lo is 5.5mo. I pump every 3-4hrs and only go longer stretches at night. I try to remain as consistent as possible to keep my supply up. I also drink lots of water and eat oatmeal regularly.

Do you need a hospital grade pump to be successful with this? I tried once with my normal ameda purely yours and it slowly drained my supply.

Pump as often as baby eats. For me I pump every 3 hours. I have a decent freezer stash and still some in the fridge for my baby to eat throughout the day. And make sure you keep every single part of your pump clean. :) good luck, pumping isn't easy ! Oh and don't skip pumps! I did twice and both times I got clogged ducts and mastitis 😫 not worth it one bit
