Age between babies?

Just out of curiosity, what do you mommies think is a good age gap between little ones? (Assuming money isn't a factor)

I always thought about trying for baby number two when my 1st born was 11-12months. And then I got pregnant again when he was 6months.. lol

I want two to three years. We will start trying officially when our daughter turns one. Although our current preventative measures aren't being taken seriously, so really could happen any time!

I always liked the 1.5/2 year age gap for siblings.  I'm pregnant with my second, and they will be 16/17 months apart.

I think of it differently now that I've experienced pregnancy. Your body needs time to build up your iron stores for the next baby to be strong and healthy. You need to have energy to endure pregnancy, and breastfeeding at the same time would be really draining. Also I would want to not have to carry or pick up the first child too much while pregnant. So, considering all of that, three or more years apart seems more appealing to me.

We're going to start trying again when our first LO turns 1. Assuming it'll take a few tries, we are hoping for about two years apart. Depending on how that goes, we'll do the same with future babies. My husband and I aren't close in age with any of our siblings and we aren't very close with them. We hope it'll be different for our LOs.
