So my baby is 5 days old and had a check up yesterday already just to make sure everything was going good. She said he is a little tongue tied and it should go away. But I looked it up and the Mayo Clinic said it had to be cut surgically if it is to get corrected. Basically I was just wondering if I should be worried? Does it go away on its own? Does anyone else have this issue with their newborn?
