I have been seeing an endometriosis specialist since I was 12 I am now 23. I was told I would never be able to conceive. After multiple hormone treatments leading up to the age of 18 the doctors decided they were out of options and told me I had to have a hysterectomy. I ended up seeing a private specialist over 2000km away.I had my first of 5 surgeries at the age of 19 and 4 years years later I married my partner of 7 years who has been a massive support. I cannot explain the physical and emotional toll this has taken on me, I had always wanted to be a mum and I literally felt suicidal at times at the thought of not being able to give my partner a family. After our wedding we decided we would try anyway. First month ttc and we are pregnant currently 17wks. So for anyone that bitches and complains about women getting pregnant first time trying etc you have NO IDEA!! what we have gone through before falling pregnant. This child is literally my miracle my doctor still does not understand how it happened. So before you judge maybe take a minute to think well maybe they didnt find it as easy as I thought they did.
