being called to... someone?

she came to me in a clearing containing a calm pool of dark water. i kneeled at one end, and lowered my hands to the pool to drink. after i drained my cupped palms, i looked up to see a great pale grey, almost white wolf with bright amber eyes watching me. she trod across the pool, over the surface, as though it was frozen solid. she came to stand feet from me, and i waded into the pool to meet her. i was standing with the water past my knees and was just below eye level with her. i bowed my head, and she howled, then i woke. i can't find her! it's not diana, i feel as though she's celtic or norse but i can't find a wolf goddess! does anyone know who it might be? has anyone been called to a wolf goddess in a similar way?
