Periods, yeast infections, & birth control

Ok ladies this is my first post but I have a serious question but first here's the run down. So I was on the mirena for 5 years and 6months so when I got it removed last February my body been going through all kinds of changes my doctor say is normal. My issue is for the last few months a week before my period is about come I get a yeast infection. I've tried everything to prevent it changed from using soap (dove unscented), cotton panties, no tight clothes, changed my diet less sugar intake, I've even talk to my doctor and she just prescribed meds but still every month the yeast comes has any one had this issue? The worst part is me and my husband want to try to conceive but I don't even want him to touch me 😥 this is becoming really uncomfortable and embarrassing any thoughts.
