Having extremely heavy bleeding/clotting after Mirena removal? Nexplanon experiences anyone?

Hi everyone. I got the Mirena removed on Saturday. I had only light bleeding that day. No bleeding at all on Sunday. But tonight, around maybe 10:30, I started badly bleeding. A tampon was full quick, and within 10 minutes I'm almost soaked through a new pad. I am now wearing two. On top of that, I am passing HUGE blood clots. The first clot, a huge piece of tissue passed along with it. It makes me see what birth control is really doing to me. Is this normal? Also, would it be bad to reply on ONLY condoms..? I have an appointment to get nexplanon implanted in about a week and a half but I'm not sure if I even wanna bother anymore. Having doubts about so much after my experiences. Please help!
