Does walking actually help??
I hope I get some responses, I don't know if I posted in the right category. I've been active my whole entire pregnancy, as in I'm on my feet all day long, go for walks etc. but not like intensively exercising. I stopped working at 37+1, I'm 38 weeks now and at my appointment my OB told me to start walking 3 times a day because he's ready to come however I'm not dialated at all nor effaced. Will that honestly prepare my body for labor & get things moving along?? I see so many women getting other recommendations on how to get the ball rolling but she said walking is best to start labor. Any suggestions?
