Birth story!!
Welcome to the world Oliver💙

I had my baby on September 22nd, and was due the 23rd! I was laying in bed on the 21st around 9pm and started having some contractions that were about 8 mins apart, but then I started walking around and they stopped so I figured they were just the same annoying Braxton hicks I had been having for the last few days. When I layed back down the contractions started again so I decided to go to bed and sleep them off. Around 5am on the 22nd, I woke up with the most uncomfortable pains in my stomach. I timed them and they were consistently about 3 mins apart, so I called my dad and had him take me to the hospital, I got there around 7am and was taken to triage and I was told I was about 4-5cm dilated. They got me to a room and hooked me up to all the monitors, at this point I was having really really bad contractions but I continued to breath through them and I was told by the nurses that I was very in control of my contractions for being a young FTM who hadn't been to any birthing classes. At about 8 I got the epidural and then about an hour after that they broke my water (which got all over my fuzzy non-slip socks that I had just put on). Apparently my baby was in the correct postion but he was facing up instead of downwards, so they had me put a peanut ball in between my legs and I had to lay on my side so we could try to turn him face down. We finally got him to turn and then around 12pm I felt a weird pain and an urge to push. They checked me and I was now about 9cm dilated and we did some practice pushes. Pushing felt so good compared to the pain of not pushing. At 1:13 pm I gave birth to my perfect son Oliver Grey Kenny💙 it's been almost 2 weeks since I had him and he is the best baby I could have ever asked for! He is a very calm and content baby and has only cried a few times (but he does whine quite a bit). I am so in love with this little boy it's unbelievable😊❤️
