First, I'm pro vaccine and will be fully vaccinating my children, so dont bother commenting if your just gonna tell me why you dont believe in it.

My question: Both my husband and i got the whooping cough vaccine when i gave birth to our first 20 months ago. I'm just wondering if we need to get the vaccine again when Peanut arrives in April? Or are we still covered? And should i get it again just to give bub some immunity until he/she gets their vaccinations at 8 weeks? Or will bub be covered anyway from my previous vaccination?

I do plan on asking my doctor but i often forget to ask him these things, so I'm wondering if anyone here knows in case i forget to ask.
