Baby carriers?

Are "Tula" and "ergo" baby carriers the same in the sense of being safe posture wise for baby?

I purchased the Lillebaby complete all seasons carrier. I am truly pleased with the quality and thoughtfulness of the design. What I looked for when doing my research on carriers was one that was really versatile. The Lillebaby can be worn in 6 different positions and you don't need a newborn insert to carry from birth. I think most of the really nice carriers are about the same as far as how baby sits in them. But I found that the Lillebaby has the advantage of not having to buy anything extra.

You want to make sure your baby is chest to chest with you and that their knees are higher than their bum in an "m" position. It's also recommended that their feet aren't inside the carrier (this is a fairly new thing) so that there's not a lot of pressure on their feet. There are a ton of soft structured carriers like the ergo or tula, some that you need an infant insert for and some you don't, some that carry only facing in and some that turn out (although I'm not a fan of outward facing since it's not that great ergonomically for baby or great for the person carrying) and some that are sized for infants/babies vs. toddler. I would try to find a store to try them on because it's usually the wearer that is fussy not the baby or better yet, Google or search for a babywearing club via Facebook in your area. Mine is great and had meet ups to try different things on and helps newbies a lot.  We also have a lending library so you can try them out with your little one before buying. Good luck!

Sure. 
Personal hate the ergo. Was horrible. 
I have a Tula for mine once there a little bigger am to cheap to get the inserts. 
Plus mine like the stretchy wrap woven and ring sling for the first while then once their big enough I put them in a Tula. 
But I may get a lenny lamb. But IV never looked into a lenny lamb for a new born so am not sure.

I couldn't make the ergo work for me and baby the first go round... It was too bulky and felt unnatural. This time I'm going to try a Moby wrap. A fellow mom at my daughter's school has one and her baby always looks so snugly in it.

Yes.  I would go with Tula or Boba.  Not a fan of the Ergo.  But yes, they all are the best for mom and baby in terms of ergonomic correctness.
