Raspberry leaf tea and c-section??

Question

I started drinking raspberry leaf tea (Earth Mama Angel Baby third trimester tea) about a week ago. Yesterday I found out that I will more than likely need to schedule a c-section. Is there any point in me continuing to drink the raspberry leaf tea?

Well since RRL tea helps tone your cervix or whatever, I think it would still be beneficial. Even after you have the c section, I believe your uterus will still need to shrink back to normal and recover. Also I've been told that you can have contractions while breastfeeding shortly after giving birth, so perhaps the RRL tea would help with that also. Either way it won't hurt to keep drinking it- it's still good and herbal for ya :)
My sister used to drink it for her period cramps!

Yes...I would still drink it. It may help tone your uterus for after the baby.

I have been putting coconut milk and ginger honey in mine! It's effing delicious. And good for digestion.

I've never heard of this tea.. what is it?

My mom claims that it helps ease the hormone changes post partum and reduces the baby blues,  but I haven't seen any actual evidence that it does.
