Clearblue OPK with PCOS

Hi. I currently use the "pink" OPK and some of the comments regarding OPKs is confusing me. I do have PCOS and have a generally regular period (every month +|- 5 days). Most recently, my period has changed a little, but when I take the OPK, I do not always get a positive sign. Is it safe to say that I can continue to use the OPK?
