Surprise glucose

I expected the worst but it was not at all bad! Saw my Dr last week Wednesday @ 25+4 with no previous talk that I would come in for a glucose test that day so I was very surprised!

I ate all day of course not expecting to take the test later. . It wasn't terrible. Dr said they stopped doing the flavors so it was "plain". I thought it was going to be a lot to drink but it was about half of a white styrofoam cup & Literally tasted like flat Sprit with sugar. I drank it & waited an hour for a blood test. . At this point (Monday) I'm thinking I passed since I haven't gotten a call from the office about it yet. Has anyone had a similar glucose experience?
