I've had it for 5 years now. Every time I take it out for a few days it does this. What do I do?

It wasn't thick enough. that strip of skin was not enough to hold the weight of the piercing. Take it out or it could rip. 😬😞

It looks like they didnt pierce it deep enough. It looks very shallow and that it might rip out if something catches it. It might be best to just take the piercing out, let that heal and get it redone where it isnt so shallow.

well first thing I notice is that it is pierced very very shallow. but otherwise, why do you take it out for days at a time? it's probably just a bit irritated. maybe go chat with your piercer n see what's up?

The metal has nickel in it. Mine would do that and now I have a scar😘. The piercing is also too shallow and it probably is because of the weight loss. If it pulls on your jeans depending on how high your jeans are that might cause it to stretch. When my weight was up and down I took it out for the same reason. I'd suggest taking it out put some scar cream on it and let it close up. Then go to someone else to pierce it again. Just make sure u tell them to get a little more skin in there.
