promethazine for two months

Hi all mummies  and mummies to be. So  my second month I've had really bad nausea. I lost weight I couldn't eat anything and I was sick all the time. my doctor prescribe me promethazine and it really worked greatly I stopped vomiting and I gained a little bit of weight. However this is my second going into third month taking the promethazine and I was just wondering if it will have any effect on me or the baby. I have triedto get off it but I still vomit if I don't take it. Any thoughts and stories will be great. Mind that I have tried everything from eating Ginger to eating light meals but nothing works
