How often should you get ultrasounds?

I am currently 36 weeks and haven't had an ultrasound since I was 19 weeks(for his measurements). I would assume they would want to know how much my baby weighs to keep track? So I'm not exactly up to date on how he's growing? Kind of annoying but I this is my first child so I'm not sure if this is normal.

You only get another ultrasound if they find a medical need. Such as to find out baby's position or check measurements if your fundal height is not where it should be

I'm a ftm too but I was told it's normal. Only two ultrasounds here in Ontario Canada. The government only pays for two now.. if you have a high risk pregnancy or something is off they will do more. If you want more though without any issues they make you pay.

My last one was 20 weeks for my anatomy scan. I was told I won't have another unless something medically comes up

It is normal. I had my last one at 19 weeks. I'll be 37 weeks on Monday and I am getting my next ultrasound then. My hospital you have to be at least 37 weeks. Bright side is you know you have a healthy baby

Technically mine only does three ultrasounds and I always heard it was normal. One on the first visit, a second one at around 16 weeks and then the anatomy scan at 20. I got another one right after the third because they couldn't get a good scan of his heart and I just got scheduled another extra one at 37 weeks just because I told my midwife everyone keeps joking about me having twins 😭 they think I look huge and she says he should be normal from her measurements, but I'm getting an ultrasound 'just in case' lol

The weight measurement via ultrasound in the end is very unpredictable. You don't need an ultrasound unless you have some kind of high risk situation. So bless, you are doing just great.

I've had around 6 just because I have a biconurate uterus so they need to make sure she is growing. 
If they have nothing to worry about they won't give you anymore than 3. Unless you call maternity or your midwife and say you're concerned and would like another scan. But then you've only got 4 weeks to go? If I read correctly. I've got 4 weeks to go as well until my due date so unless at my consultant and midwife appointment they say they're going to do one more scan they're happy. 
Is there something you are worried about? Or do you just wanna be able to see your little one again?

I just had one today at 33w2d. My doctor does a final one at 33 weeks to check baby's position, amniotic fluid and measure growth. Almost everyone I know gets one around this time in the part of Michigan I live in. Every doctor is different and every state & country is too

My dr did one at 33 weeks to check for position, but she said they don't always do it. They only checked amount of amniotic fluid and where his head was, they didn't tell me hight or weight. Usually after the measurement they don't do one unless they feel something is wrong. I have kaiser btw
