Job searching after 25 weeks
Hi ladies so I'm due in January and I'm in need of work. I lost my job due to having HG in the beginning of my pregnancy and no FMLA to cover/save me because I was with the company less than a year. They didn't call it due to being pregnant, moreso too many absences with no PTO to cover. (Florida is a right to work state).
I know it's illegal to not hire me based on my pregnancy but realistically it happens. I may have a teaching job in August. But I would like to work until January. Other than seasonal holiday retail jobs, which I don't mind & I'm applying to currently, does anyone have any other suggestions? Work from home jobs? I could really use these last 3 months to save for baby. My BF does great on his own but now that I'm healthy enough to work I can't be home twiddling my thumbs. Thank you!
