Fur Baby Mamas & Newborns

We rescued the sweetest lil girl off the streets about 2 months ago & baby is due in less then 2mon.

How is everyone preparing for puppy/dog to meet new baby? Any tips from those who have made the introduction already? How do you discipline pup when it comes to baby?

We're unsure of Riley's age but she's still a pup, potty training & teething. Our niece who is 8mon has been visiting regularly but she is also big/old enough to play with puppy. They play tug with the rope and roam the house together as she's crawling like crazy lately. She would nip at baby girl when she 1st came around but now they're good friends. I keep her early in the morning, Riley is always excited to see baby girl licking her face & eventually falling back asleep on her feet when we lay down. She's always very tentative when baby girl starts crying & looks eager/curious to calm her down.

Just curious how this will be so different as a newborn will not be sitting up to play with her.
