Does it annoy you when a mother says her child is 24+ months?

It kinda irks me when a mother gets asked how old her child is and she answers their age in MONTHS when the child is clearly like 3 years old.... I had a customer the other day who had this gorgeous little girl, and I asked politely, "Awww. How old is she?" She, with a dead face, answered "Aw, thank you, she just turned 36 months." 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I used to, until I became educated about the vast difference in development month to month for children under the age of four.

I feel like after 2 years it's just...no. Like, because there's such huge differences developmentally between a 1 year old and an 18 month old, then it's understandable. But if your kid is 38 months then just say they just turned 3 or something like that.
