I'm renting a house and the carpet when I moved in was ruined and so my landlord had to lay new ones. They laid commercial grade carpet squares, they don't even match. The babies soon to be nursery is the worst room of them all, and we still have a huge living room that needs to be done. I talked to my landlord and she said well I can't do anything I've already paid for them. IT CANT EVEN BE COVERED BY AREA RUGS. I'm canceling my baby shower now because this is completely embarrassing. I went a priced my own carpet but I don't really have $2000 right now that I can just throw into a home that I don't even own. I'm sooo pissed. there are squares that aren't even the same pattern??? What the hell. For one area rug to mostly cover a room would be like $400 OR MORE. I don't know if I'm just over reacting but I want a nice home for my son. I've done ALL of the other work in this house myself with my own money! Ugh.
